Depends on the platform and your purposes.
As I know Swift is usually used nowadays for creating iOS apps and games, Java is the best choice for Android and C++ or other languages are used by experienced developers for creating really hard desktop games.
Nevertheless, I'd say that practically any language can be used for creating simple games.
