Every Language is better C++ is a bit harder but C++ is a good start because it's easy to learn basics (the advance stuffs are a bit hard) and once you learn a language you get familiar to coding and data types so your next courses become easier But if you start with other languages like java or C# the Syntax can be complicated to you when starting

No , infact it is a very good beginning of learning programming. I have started with c at that time I also used to think that it is not a good language not attractive but, now I'm happy once you learn c++ then it is easy to understand other languages

no... I started with c++...I did some code in professional career into vb.net and c#.net as well, but I like c++ the most...
