That is true. As I said both markets are huge and learning each will help you. Mobile apps currently are mostly for people better to say.
Web pages are mostly for businesses.
Don't get me wrong, people do have websites and businesses do have apps. What I mean is the majority.
Working for a business would pay you more and can give you a more stable job.
But again, this is not the general rule. Each of the subjects have a huge market that can make you a lot of money by good skills.

Hamza, it depends on you and the job market. Currently both of the categories are having huge growths. There are jobs for both categories and it is very easy to find a job if you have good skills. So learning each will give a great job including a money.
But I personally would choose web programming. Because there are a lot of businesses and people who don't have a website. First thing they think is to create a website. The second thing is to create a mobile app. So I personally would recommend web programming.

BEST option is to learn both. If you learn both the money you can get paid would get double! Knowing more programming languages will help you a lot. Currently I'm learning every language I can because it would help a lot.
