What's the best language to start with, and which is the most useful?

according to the variation of programing languages this is a very important question: what's the best language to learn practice etc? i've already chosen c++ and feel it's realy simple and easy to learn but don't think that would be much usable nowadays! I'll be glad if you share your experience in comments below ;)

yeah.i've just started learning programing and don't have enough skills to judge truly about it;but i found other languages more complex;comparing theire first lessons! and i thought it wouldn't be so useful against languages with more visual capabilities! so you say c++ is the best language for start and my choice is correct? thanks for answering ;)

C++ is a very useful nowadays. Pretty much anything can be made with it. If you think C++ is easy then I would stick to that because most people think it's actually pretty hard.

C++ ist widely used and will be used. You can do a lot with it. And if you find it simple, you didn't dive deep enough into it ;) But it's true, once you got the concepts, C++ reveals its beauty :)

Mohsen I can't really give you an accurate answer as I don't know what you want to do. But overall, C++ is an outstanding language. It can be used to build just about anything. Your OS is probably built using C++. If you're using a browser right now that's probably built in C++ too. And that IDE you write code in on your computer, might also be C++.
