Image has not been displayed. What to do?

The (only?) reason when this will not work is when you don't have the picture: 1.jpg in the same directory as the html file you put this image tag in.
Edit: nevermind, the tag is img and not image, as KINGODX pointed out.

it's <img src="1.jpg" alt="blablalba"> and not <image>
