Any good resources to start me off in machine learning? ( games in particular)

I am a game developer who is very interested in machine learning to incorporate it into games to have AI opponents constantly adapting. I was just wondering if there is a good read somewhere or suggestions on good places to start? Thanks in advance!

you can also refer to this text, it's a great book, starts from basics maths required for ML and goes upto advance concepts in deep learning. http://www.deeplearningbook.org

Follow this trail, perhaps. A good and brief overview of machine learning, and links to neural networks, if that is what you prefer. https://www.sololearn.com/learn/714/?ref=app External resource? http://neuralnetworksanddeeplearning.com .

True AI as game AI is a novel concept. I would first master both fields and then start doing that crossover.
