Best ratio of coding practice to everything else?

On the one hand we probably learn to code best by actually coding; on the other hand there's a lot of stuff that ranges from necessary to helpful, like reading, learning, messing around here with challenges and the like. What would you deem the best ratio of actual coding in relation to 'assistance work'?

Nomeh Uchenna Gabriel I think for professionals, you gave coding too much time. A more rational ratio would be :: coding : others Beg --> 4:5 Pro --> 6:4
