Normally I am against the comparison (in any aspect) of two technologies that have different purposes.

Angular is a framework that uses MVC, while NodeJS is a JavaScript run-time environment. As I said before, both things are very different.

In any case, choosing one of the two would undoubtedly be Node. Nodejs is a key piece for many developers. Probably if you use Angular you are also using NodeJS, even if it is only for the installation of Angular CLI.
