Python is recommended by me for use Python is General-purposed language used from server automation to Data Science. Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. It is simple, easy to learn syntax emphasizes readability and therefore reduces the cost of program maintenance. It supports modules and packages, which encourages program modularity and code reuse. Many Countries used Python for statistical analysis and visualisation.

If you've never studied another language, I'd strongly suggest Java. C++ and C are both good suggestions, for the reasons given. However, the Eclipse IDE is very helpful in that it can tell you much of what you're doing wrong before you try running any programs, it can access the documentation for the software you're using through something called "JavaDocs" and it has a debugger built in. Java was designed to run everywhere, and other than on very small embedded parts, you can find a Java Virtual Machine (what runs your program) for just about everything.
