If you're only using HTML you probably will ending up with a page that just displays the things you've entered. In order to get your page looking nice you have to use CSS. But thats just to design it and is, like HTML, no programming language. Other actual programming languages you probably need are: JavaScript and php. Have a closer look on those three thing. The all too big to cover in one comment.
