Still need to see that code buddy, it's hard to tell without seeing the code ... How about reinstall the DevC++, maybe there's a problem with the installation.

There shouldn't be a problem to use underscore in the beginning of variable names, tell the error message, and show the code, otherwise no one here will help you.

hey buddy now i got the answer but i want to tell u that this is problem occuring again n again; first i used _ it showed error i used _ a little later error gone!! so i was not lieing but this thing of different results on compilation is confusing!
