HELP! Trying to create a custom footer for my website!

when i apply the code to the website it is off centered. moves around when zooming in and out, and when shown on the phone it shows white space with a black rectangular bar on the leftside of the screen. my website is www.freedomboilers.com & code is https://code.sololearn.com/WluEtQONiV2A/?ref=app (i want it to be side by side.) that black rectangular bar is probably your website. you need to probably make your site mobile first. It sounds like you are developing on a mobile device. It's like that because if you program it on a mobile device you'll probably end up making everything so small to fit on the screen whenever it gets on the web browser it doesn't look right because it's so small. Google mobile first a couple of little things that you need to put in the head. Actually pretty much one line of code will fix all that. I learned it to where I can spit it out off the top of my head. But the best way to learn is to get on that Google and get to get to get to get to getting Googlin. Google is like more than half of the skill set for a developer. By the way the footer tag and some CSS is how you make that custom footer
