HTML VS HTML 5

Hello guys I have just finished all the fundamental of HTML and the next topic in that course is HTML 5. I’m wondering what is the difference between the two HTML. Should I take it before taking CSS or I can go straight to CSS without taking the HTML 5. Any suggestion will be really appreciated

HTML5 has many new enhanced capabilities over HTML4. As SoakedInAllan said, audio and video, also interactive web designs and responsive elements. CSS is a styling language that is designed for making your HTML look and feel better. Theres not much use in learning CSS if you don't know HTML, so start with the HTML, or learn them at the same time. I don't know where or why you learned HTML and not just HTML5. 5 encompasses all of HTML that is not deprecated, so it should be the only thing needed. At this point, if you know the basics, you can learn CSS now or you can wait, it won't matter much. But I do recommend learning the rest of HTML5, as the new features are really helpful.
