Yes, Tim Millar is correct, it's an SD card they're talking about. That's built-in memory. I'm going to guess the laptop is intel Atom architecture. If so, you can run any IDE you like since it's likely the x86_64 version of the chip. Load speed should be snappy as your hdd is basically an ssd (Solid State Drive) coz it's an SD card. But that speed may be offset by having under 4GB RAM. You have limited internal storage, so keep your archive files (stuff you aren't working on daily) on an external hdd or in the clouds. It's not the best setup for huge builds, but you'll be fine with small, starter projects and/or web stuff. Enjoy.

the 64GB disk is probably an SD card. flash drive that you insert in the micro SD card slot on the side of the laptop.

My advice is to grab a free compiler and build a portfolio. If you have an old or low-spec laptop, I'd use Debian as an OS because it's low on resources. There are plenty IDEs on Linux and many coding tools. It's very dev-friendly.

Depends if you are looking to make a career out of it... In the case of 'hacking' (Which is really just testing for flaws and exploiting them) you can do the Certified Ethical hacking course online. Otherwise the community version of visual studio on your laptop would work nicely as a compiler, it helps you troubleshoot as well manage and organize... Once again it really just relies on your goals and whether or not you want to make a career out of it.

and do any of you know what a 64gbmicro disc is? I assume it's something for storage but idk a disk really can't hold all that much I wouldn't think.
