How challenges work?

Hello dear community, I have a question.
Just being curious before getting started about how the challenges work and what is basically the challenge that is being put upon us?

I haven't done it, but apparently it makes you compete with someone in real time by giving questions. Whoever has the most correct, the fastest, wins.

It is like a game the challenger is given 5 questions (rounds) to answer and see how many they can get correct then the challenged goes and sees of they can get more right then the challenger if both player tie then the challenged get a tie-breaker if he gets it correct they we if they answer incorrect then they loss the winner gets exp.
