What is BADGES in the sololearn app? And what is benifit of this ?

What I believe is that badges are to improve the confidence of the beginner programmers to increase their level of programming. each badge you achieve helps you to motivate you so that you should improve your programming.

Badges here on Sololearn are simply checkpoints that reassure and reward you for the efforts that you've put in. Almost every other badge has got a bonus xp package, which further serves as a valuable incentive to keep coding and improving oneself.
So as you can see, there are no materialistic gains from gaining badges outside of this platform but then again, there's the respect from the community that you'll be getting along the way.
