What are these colors?

Question

Sometimes when my profile takes time to load,my avatar's picture has a specific color (before the picture is shown a color has it's place)and overtime it changes....as i execute a slow load of my profile to check it again.

Does anyone know if these colors have any significance based on your activity or anything???

The same thing happens to me all the time. I don’t think it has anything to do with activity.

i Don't thinks it is random....
when i get the red colour and after some logins later it gives me the massage" the internet connection is not good"....something like that.

but my internet connection is not a potato and it works for other
net-activities...
this is the reason why i associate activity with it

I always thought that it takes an "average" color of your image, and then using that to present your "bad connection" or "still loading profile images" image.

since it is something that must be controlled by code, even to be random there must be some parameters to generate the resultant color. I have not set an image yet so that rules out any image specific result. The authors of the page will know. But how to find out is a mystery as yet.
