Orientation

Hi, I started getting interest in programming 2 weeks ago, but there are too many languages, i would like to develop desktop software just as a hobby, Could u give me some advice on what language should I learn as first language? Ty in advanced

First you should learn to create console applications using C++, because console applications are easy. If you want to create GUI applications then you can try .NET and Visual Basic.

I haven't learned Python. So I can't tell. I am still a beginner.

For which platform? 1. Linux - C++/ C, Java, Python, 2. Mac - I don't know. 3. Windows - C/ C++, Java, .Net, Azure , C# , (and many more) and You can visit microsoft official website for this. I don't have more knowledge on desktop development. :)
