I'm trying to save ExampleProgram.java to notepad++ but it's telling me 2 contact the admin 4 permission. I am the admin.

How do I grant my self permission & is this the reason file not found is coming up when I type Javac exampleprogram.java n2 cmd? thanks

you have set no permission to write at that folder on either login through the administrator account or run as administrator or set request allowance. you may be administrator but it has standard privelage.

just click on ask for permission in user control access type administrator password then yes after that in keep blocking and allow choose allow. if there is more than one administrator than then choose one and the bad one if there is no administrator then you have accidentally made your administrator account into standard it reminded my mistake the thing to be done is many simple one is reboot and bring boot options it depends on device than choose reboot to safe mode with CMD in CMD you will have to activate the administrator account than restart on restart you can set your account administrator again and for safety disable the just made account
