Java, .NET and C++, Python

So, I am at a computer science University, and what we learn more is based on C/C++. I love technology and my favourite type are the mobiles because, not having a computer by your side may be a problem sometime and if a phone can do what the computer do, is a win situation. Main questions are : .NET or Java? for mobile apps and more, and... It is worth to continue C++ or following something like Python, despite I don't learn python on university. Want to hear your all opinions.

nowadays, in my opinion, u can achieve any kind of result in c# as well as in java. also, keep in mind that java and c# are copying one another and the syntax is very similar. i've completed a 3 months in class java course but use c# at work. personally, i enjoy c# more, as well as enjoying visual studio more than netbeans or eclipse.
