Which language to learn next after completing HTML?

The progression is as follows:
1. HTML
2. CSS
3. JavaScript
4. JQuery

I saw someone else say JavaScript is the hardest of them all, which is true in a sense. Overall though, JavaScript isn't really that hard and with a little practice you will learn it in no time.

The usual progression that people do is HTML, then css,JavaScript and lastly JQuery. JavaScript is the hardest so most people learn it later.

If you're interested in backend, learn PHP or ASP. NET otherwise follow what @Ole113 said.

then You can learn The fancy stuff like Pug, HAML, Sass, SCSS, Cas, node.js, Agularjs, reactJS.etc
