Are you a high school student? Integration is just about your experience with it. The more the number of problems you solve, more experienced you become and with enough of it, you shall be able to have a vague idea of proceeding for a solution just by looking at the integral. Once you are confident in integration, I feel rest is easy.

BTW what are not able to understand in integral calculus (topics maybe) ? You can always try allotting a specific amount of time for coding each day or something of that sort.

For square roots its always a good idea trying eliminating square roots by substituting the expression inside by t^2 or the like. BTW don't your college textbooks have a few examples. In integration, it's always suggested that you explore it by yourself-look for solutions which look very similar and try generalizing etc. As for trig. I don't know, but yes there are some six formulae for inverse. But three of them are just redundant. Its becoming difficult to elaborate things here for me; unless you can understand.

No, I don't think that being weak in integral calculus is anyway going to affect your programming skills, till the time you don't get into things like MATLAB or WolframAlpha (MAPLE).
