Making an AI doubt the program it wrote or the data which was provided to it and revising it. This is not possible as computers do not know that they can make mistakes too.

If machines can feel? We surely could never prove that, even if they did. But I can’t prove to others that I have a conscience either; for as far as everyone knows I could be a very complex computer simulated hologram. So could everyone else. The thing about feelings is that it’s best to simply postulate that “if it acts as it’s human, then it’s human inside”. Just my opinion. After all we’re just biochemical computers, too.
