C++ because its (essentially) a superset of C and has more features and rules of latter

C is relatively complicated, and the reason is the need of Buffer Clearance, and a few more reasons that you might already know. ;-) C++ is a bit easy, because it modified each and every issue that the developers found in C

Here we do clarify the phrase "more complicated"... If we seen in usability context when C is "more complicated" because you can operate at low level only... In language comprension is C++ "more complicated" because though you can operate to low level, you can abstract better things as buffers, string and add concepts as objects, relationships betwenn objects and more... All previous feautures add complexity to understanding a language
