When to use ; at the end of a attribute?

I have a question on when assigning attributes how do i know when to use a semi colon ; ? For example sometimes some attributes x:"y"; while others are x="y" or x:"y"

Your question is not clear. It depends on language you use. There is no semicolons in Python btw. We use semicolons at the end of statements.

I am kind of confused by your question. but talking about css, it is used at the end of an attribute... otherwise different languages have different syntax.
