C# or java
I am 17 years old and Im really interested in programing,i started learning java with my friend,i got down the basics of it but not the advanced stuff, our idea was to make an android game,a bit foolish i know. But at school we started learning c# and in wondering should i continue learning java or start c#?Which one is better for programing a game?I am a quick learner and i would like to go to a programing college after middle school. Also what is the difference between learning c# or c++?Thanks in advance.

keep in mind i am a java dev.
From my experience, c# and java are nearly the same. I can read and write c# without any problems. Yet i dont have more than 10 hours experience with c#.
Java and c# are more equal than c++ and c#.
So i would say it doesnt really matter what you choose. c# or java.
Take your pick :-D
For game dev, c++ is still best pick though.
Imho, the best option is to pick java. Get a well paid job (thats the easy part), and learn yourself in c++ / c# and try yourself with game dev (thats the hard part).
You can however just focus on game dev. Getting a good job there is the hard part.
But i am no game dev. ;-)
Keep in mind, as a programmer you never can programm in just one language. Because if you do, you will be screwed in the long run.
