Should I take notes?

If so, should I do it on a device or paper?

As @Hatsy Rai said, I do that too that’s why my code tally shows so many codes, since I don't comment much I think that helps even more. But there's a flaw attached to this so I pin finished one's in 'MS-Word' as @Martin Taylor said!

Depends highly on your own learning style. Personally, I do not feel that it is practical to take notes. Write codes, practice your knowledge, practice what you learned, that's how memory is strengthened.
