Is c# similar to Visual Basic?

Question

I have been wondering how similar this is to Visual Basic. I believe that c# can do all the things that Visual Basic can do(or so I've been told) but also has a syntax similar to c++. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is c# just another VB? Or am I just misled on this whole topic.

yes it is similar to visuals u will execute ur application in the visual studio

Should also mention, I have been learning VB in school for about a semester now. So I have a good idea on how VB works.
