How many language do you code in?

personally, I intend to stay with javascript both for front-end and back-end (not counting html, and css) ... my friend codes in three languages... I don't know if that's wise! are there disadvantages in staying with 1 programming language???

Major part of the industry itself requires you to know at least two languages to get a job. Go figure. Is it wise to code in more than one language? Well, is it wise to learn more?

I actively code in two programming languages.(not counting html, css and the like) if you mean how many i can *easily* code in; then it's 3 and to some extent a 4th language.

Only 1 working with two actually makes me unfocused... I'm not saying stick with 1 language either nor with 2 or more... I dont think there is also a disadvantage of using 1 languages...

all this dépends on what kind of programs you want to make. if you want to become a webdev? well, i think you'll need html, css, js and php (you can use node.js instead of php if you don't want to learn more than 3 languages since node.js is based on js)
