How to have the guide and code program up at same time

I'm trying to do tutorials in this program.. But also want to use this build in coding program.. But can't seem to use it both at same time. What is the proper way to learn this course in theory and in practice

Easiest way is on a PC with two windows open. Learning and coding on app can become painful. The advantage of experiencing the pain though is it forces you to try to remember rather than copy the code.
