Oh sure!

You can create custom pages! but unfortunately your site will be a regular static site, in order for it to be interactive, you need to use javascript, this is the client language that can make your site interesting and mechanical!

But if you are going to create a simple site using html5, you will also have it working if you want to create a blog site for yourself! good luck with the site ! :)
