How to deal with variable from Blob type?

Question

I'm working in jframe, java class with sql connection, and workbench IDE

I need to take a photo that is shown in a jframe in jLabel as "icon" and have it in Blob type, so that I can send it to a java class (with sql connection) and insert it into database, and the result must be shown in workbench IDE

I really need the answer.. I couldn't find it anywhere.
