How will you know the progress of your study of programming?

as a beginner and aspiring programmer. i use many sources to learn programming. i browse peoples comment and take python exercises in the internet. so whenever i do exercises on the internet i tend to see people do a very complex coding but the same program that i work on. i always felt like i i didnt improve at all. how will i know that i improve? that is the only thing that drives me to work hard more.

think of some projects, try to code these projects on your own without any help, if you cant, them leave then alone and try again a month or two later.

Did you manage to code these projects? congratulations you improved.
You didnt manage to cose these projects? wait some more and try again.

Study their codes and see what they did differently from you. If you analyse complex coding enough, you will notice that it is actually very simple. Try to make some "complex" codes yourself. And finally, never stop coding. You will improve in time. 😉
