Is it important to learn C language before C++ language?

Nope, not at all! I have learnt the C++ language completely fine without learning C! But maybe it is better, I don't know. 😉

It would be an advantage to learn C language prior to C++, at least that's what I see from some friends here who had a C language background, they seem to find it easier to dive in to C++ later, or even Java and C# (Personal opinion).
