Can we use SWIFT for android apps ?

Interesting question. Currently no. But there is a new OS Google is working on, Fuchsia OS http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/11/20/google-working-fuchsia-os-support-apples-swift-programming-language/ It’s not clear what Fuchsia OS will be used for.

Unfortunately nope, programming languages are designed to run in a specific runtime environment supported by the machine and Android doesn't support it. Just in case if you're interested, the first-class citizen for building Android apps are Java and Kotlin. 😉

Swift is for iOS apps.

Swift is iOS only, sadly it cannot be supported by android but there have been rumours of android and iOS being supported together (not with their permissions of course)
