if you are just trying to learn programming and are beginner in the world of coding, then i would recommend python if you need a easy language and modrate speed then python is your thing if you need fast applications and you are ready to negotiate with tough syntax then c++ should be your choice i personally like python tough..

after writing my programs in python i use py2exe to turn it into a Windows executables but for speed of apps c++ is more preferable
