Which is the job of a graphic designer and how can you become one?
Graphic designers can have all sorts of jobs; basically wherever art is needed. Since I'm a game developer, that's a fine example where graphic artists can really shine bright by creating game art. For myself, I just downloaded different programs (PhotoShop, Illustrator, After Effects, AutoDesk Maya, etc..) and read all of their documentation. Then I looked up tutorials/resources online via Google.com and began to read and practice them extensively. I'm subscribed to PluralSights/Digital-Tutors, and they have a very extensive library for such creative arts stuff, which is where I learned most of what I know in regard to 3D modeling and animation. There are a lot of resources out there on it. However, it takes a lot of practice, so invest as much time into it as you need to. Stay consistent with it and you'll do fine.
