Why is it that all coding languages seem to be in English?

It seems that every programming language I have come into contact with is in English. Is there a reason for that or does it have to do with all the new tech stuff happening in America and no one else has seen the need to write a program where all the key words/syntax are in another language.

Yep since the most of popular programming languages are developed in USA they use English. There are some languages developed in Russia witch use russian, but they used only there and not as popular as normal programming languages.

I know Chinese, but I can't really imagine how does a programming language in Chinese look like.

because english lingua franca. It is used as a connecting language. so a programmer sitting in sweden may want to develop his/her language in english in order for most people to understand it. But there are non english based languages as well.
