Mine is the hunt n peck typing too.
Even then my typing speeds can reach 50 words per minute ;)

I went for a course on how to type properly 5 years ago in my primary school. I beat my other friends, by using this technique which is supposedly slower...

I learn typing correctly few years ago. It is very necessary and confortable if you know it to type well. You can learn on different websites with free courses.
