Hacker's Keyboard gives you a full PC keyboard (function keys, escape, tab, etc where you expect them) with customization (display space it uses, force popup when codes don't trigger the keyboard, languages) and terminal compatibility. You lose the fancy emoji but you get something that isn't functionally handicapped.
