...You don't like that people are celebrating their achievements, because it's lame and is spam, not important, and does nothing at all to serve the purpose of Question & Answer section. Right? However, here you are creating a thread that serves even less of a purpose than one celebrating their achievements, and you're questioning what their aim is?

Better question. Why does it bother you? I won't state my speculations, but that's something for you to ponder upon yourself. Don't allow others, or the things they do, enter into your inner space and corrupt your thoughts/feelings. Focus on what you need and want to focus on, so if those threads are able to bother you, skip over them in the list and focus on more pertinent matters.
