I don't have windows or Mac. I removed windows from my computer (& life) long time ago and I can't buy Mac. I can make desktop apps from java too but was wondering that do any company uses QT or GTK+

I think QT is more often used by companies as it runs on more platforms and there's a company behind it providing better support. Still Gtk looks better on most Linux distros. (Though I'm not an expert) I'd use gtk for native Linux apps written in C and QT for native Apps for Linux and other operating systems with QT i C++. And yes I think native apps are still worth since all those web apps are by far not as reactive and fast.
