Certified ethical hackers are growing in demand these days, if you have a valid certificate from a well-known certificate issuer you will most probably have a better chance for network security related position.

As for what to do, as any other knowledge would, keep your knife sharp by practicing, testing, research for new techniques and news to keep yourself updated, and while that, go seek for opportunities on jobs.
