Ease of learning is relative to the individual, so I can't assess that for you. Personally, I learned C++ first and Java many many years in the future, and I turned out okay. Both have been very useful for the various tasks I've done, and it's not something that I would even compare as being more or less useful than the other. It's like having a tool belt, what is more useful, your hammer or your screw driver? Just depends what you're doing and how you use it. What's most useful is having a tool belt with all of the tools you'll need, rather than using one tool for all of your needs.

So, I first learned java and I am better in it, but syntax stuff is very similar, as @Netkos said, it's a thing of perspective, nobody can say which is less hard to learn.

Useful for what? All you need to do is, pick a project you want to make. Then choose the right language for it.
