SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphics, and is used to draw shapes with HTML-style markup. It offers several methods for drawing paths, boxes, circles, text, and graphic images.

Iframe is a window to another site, external to your website

iframe is actually a frame containing another website whereas svg stands for scalable vector images and its pros is that these images can be stretched or compressed without disturbing the pixels.
