If you're thinking of learning to code, the language you decide to pick up first has a lot to do with what you're trying to learn, what you want to do with the skill, and where you want to eventually go from there. Still, some languages are easier to pick up than others, so it is up to you and your end goal for the learning the specific code. finally, you should dedicate yourself on sololearn and it's teachings. I wish you all the best on your journeyâ€

I personally would recommend python. but its really up to you, other good options are java, ruby, and HTML if you want to build your own website, but if you are learning HTML you'll also need CSS and then JavaScript, take those three courses in that order. but if you just want to learn the ins and outs of programming and want a powerful language to do it stick with python. it was my first language and I don't regret it at all. I wouldn't recommend C++ for beginners it tends to be hard as a first language. but if you believe you're up to the challenge then do it

I'd recommend Java personally. I feel like the strict data type provided with it is a good basis for understanding other object oriented languages. Additionally, you don't have the spacing hiccups that can be a problem for beginners in python.
