My best advise is to keep all of your CSS separate from your HTML code. Don't get in the habit of using the 'style' attribute on elements for the purpose of adding CSS to the element. When your projects get bigger, it can become really messy. As well, you lose the dynamic element of being able to change it in one spot when you do that. Other than that, CSS is pretty straight forward and I'm sure you'll master it quickly. Practice and test out what you're learning; CSS does a lot of neat things.
