Which Linux?

What Linux would be the best to download for programming purposes? There is so many available to download.

every linux has the capacity to be good for programming... it more depens on if you want a easy to set up linux with lots of tools easy available

==> ubuntu (great for dual windows boot)

or if you want to do more stuff with it like learning how linux works , building stuff yourself ect

==> arch

or if you want to do some hacking with it

==> karlilinux (only recoment it with usb boot)

overall all linux distros have there pearks if you know what to do with it and all linux distros are great for coding

i have just started using linux & i use mint.
its easy to use for beginners later on u can upgrade to others
