Php or html

hello guy.
Which language do you think is better ,php or html. I'd love to learn but I don't know which between the two.

HTML is a markup language. It's used to create HTML documents from text, images, links and blocks.

PHP is a server side scripting language, usually used to create scripts, that generate HTML pages and do backend stuff.

So comparing the two is inappropriate. But if you want to learn web development, start with HTML, then learn CSS and JavaScript - these three make up the front end stack. Then proceed to PHP or any other server-side language.
