Thanks for answering, actually I searched on SO, CodeProject, and sourceforge, some indirectly routed through Google search, but most gave the same idea that such call would need code injection using external dll, I'm looking for other less "rude" way to go about it.

Hi, can you tell me how to get the Windows user API GetClassInfoEx to work with any hWnd without having to hook the owning thread to get the hInst? also can you tell me how to easily provide sufficient buffer to allocate on the call to Native API NtQuerySystemInformation for system process table? please give me a working solution?

i know a few old methods give me a while to test if they still work but id suggest making alterations like this on a virtual machine
